First Gen/Low Income

The Winthrop First-Gen Low-Income (FGLI) community is a safe space for FGLI students that offers a system of support and resources. This community is open to any Winthrop House student who feels that their experience and status as a college graduate will hold a unique meaning for their families. This includes students who are one of the few in their family to attend college and/or those receiving high financial aid from the college.

Throughout the academic year, the FGLI tutor team works with Winthrop students, the Harvard Next Gen Initiative and other university offices and affiliates to plan programming geared towards supporting the Winthrop FGLI student community. To learn more about how you can connect with FGLI programming, please contact the Winthrop FGLI Tutor Team.
