The Collins Junior Common Room (JCR) is located on the main floor of Gore Hall (H-Entry), across from the dining hall.

The JCR is the largest room in Winthrop. The space provides a perfect venue for student events, performances, and informal gatherings. A beautiful working fireplace, Steinway piano and collection of games and books make it a sought after space for visiting speakers, student dinners, and House meetings.

The JCR is open to all Winthrop residents seven days a week if it isn't in use for an event. If you are interested in reserving this space for an please email the House Administrator <wi-ha@fas.harvard.edu>.

Note that "Junior" in "Junior Common Room" refers not to junior undergraduates, but junior members of the Winthrop community, i.e., undergraduates (as opposed to the senior members of the community, which includes Resident Tutors, Resident Scholars, faculty and deans).
