Clayton is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology and Resident Tutor in Kirkland House, and he is excited to join Winthrop House as a Sociology Concentration Advisor. Clayton hails from the suburbs of Kansas City and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in International and Area Studies, as well as a minor in Sociology. Before starting graduate school, Clayton worked as a Research Associate at Cornell University and Duke University, where he focused on improving the quality and utility of national child welfare data. As a CA, Clayton is excited to speak with students about using Sociology as a tool during and beyond their college years.
