 David Schaffer, MD, is a fourth-year resident physician in Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham &amp; Women's Hospital. Originally from North Carolina, he studied Biology and Chinese at Georgetown University before attending medical school at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Schaffer is also the co-founder of One Tent Health, a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C that provides community-based HIV screening, COVID testing, and other services, with their work featured in JAMA, The Washingtonian, and POZ. Dr. Schaffer's clinical interests include emergency medicine, toxicology, and community-based healthcare.
