Lauren is a PhD student in Harvard's Committee on the Study of Religion. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Michigan (2017), where she studied cognitive science and organizational studies. During her professional career, Lauren led learning and development priorities at nonprofits in New York City for five years. She recently completed her Master of Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School (2024) with a concentration in religion, ethics, and politics. Lauren's PhD research focuses broadly on Catholicism, media, and gender. She is thrilled to be a Resident Tutor in Winthrop House! Outside of Harvard, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing and playing piano, and rowing on the Charles.
