Hi Winthrop! My name is Lia and I am super excited to be one of your NRTs this year. I graduated from Rice University in 2021 with dual degrees in Political Science and Cello Performance and am currently entering my second year as an MTS student at Harvard Divinity School studying intersections of human flourishing, spirituality, clinical psychology and creative practice. In 2022 I spent a year on a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship studying the relationship between social movement building and creative practice around the world, which has deeply informed my creative and academic practices. I am also currently the Artist-In-Residence at Mount Auburn Cemetery (which is beautiful and close to campus, you should visit!), before which I held a residency with the National Parks Foundation. Please don’t hesitate to reach out about anything related to the arts, fellowships, wellness, spirituality or psychology (or if you just want to chat/hang out/make music together). Looking forward to getting to know you!
