Hey Winthrop! I’m excited to join the community as a resident tutor this year alongside my partner, Michelle. I was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and moved with my family to Washington, D.C. at a young age. I attended high school in Rockville, MD, and later earned a joint BS/MS in Materials Science and Chemistry from Penn State. After graduating during the pandemic, I moved to NYC and worked in R&D and M&A roles across the biotech and microelectronics industries. I’m now a 2nd-year PhD candidate in Applied Physics, co-advised between Harvard SEAS and Harvard Medical School, with a secondary field in Data Science. I’m also pursuing an SM in Biological Engineering and currently serve as a venture capital fellow with The Engine Ventures. As for hobbies, I enjoy jamming out on the drums, running, and angel investing. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone! Reach out for a chat!
