# Sambuddha Chattopadhyay Non-Resident Tutor ![Sambuddha](/sites/g/files/omnuum9706/files/styles/hwp_4_5__480x600/public/winthrop-house/files/image001_1.jpg?itok=yyMERNIE) email Sambuddha is a 2nd year Physics graduate student at Harvard University (Winthrop, co'2021!!) His research interests lie at the intersection of condensed matter, quantum optics, and statistical physics, specifically in investigating many-body dynamics using budding quantum technologies. He is also very interested in the development of practically relevant, near-term quantum algorithms. In his spare time, Sambuddha watches movies, plays various team sports poorly (albeit with a passable, if admirable, amount of effort), walks around Boston, and visits (contemporary/modern) art museums.
