The Feldmann Lab at Harvard/EPFL employs light-matter interactions to design the next generation of soft semiconductors with the overarching goal of maximizing energy efficiency for a sustainable future by unlocking applications ranging from flexible light-weight solar cells & displays all the way to entirely new quantum information technologies.

Prior to starting his research group at Harvard in 2022, Sascha studied Chemistry at Heidelberg University (Germany) and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2020, where he continued to work as an independent EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellow.

Since 2024, he is also a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor and Head of the Laboratory for Energy Materials at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland), while maintaining strong ties with Harvard.
