Race Relations

Winthrop House is proud of the many cultures, ethnicities, and people represented in our community and we want to celebrate and honor you during your time here at Harvard.  We welcome members of all racial and ethic identities to come and share in discussions ranging from current events to personal experiences.

We hold different events throughout the year that showcase various traditions and historical landmarks. We also hold discussions of current events at our bi-weekly dining hall race-relations tables. These are spaces where individuals from various racial and ethnic groups can come together and connect about experiences on campus and beyond.

Please keep an eye out for emails from your Race Relations Tutors and feel free to approach any House Tutor for direction on any race-related issue. We highly encourage you to reach out if there is a meaningful event or idea you’d like to initiate for Winthrop House.
