Pre-Law

Welcome! The Pre-Law Tutors are ready to help you succeed in your pre-law endeavors and law school applications. If you are seeking help with an upcoming law school application, make sure to spend some time reflecting on why you want to attend law school, which schools you might like to attend, and your potential application components (e.g., who could write strong recommendations for you, what you might write in your statements).

Then when you are ready, reach out to Nathan Poland, the lead on Pre-Law, and he will connect you with the appropriate pre-law adviser (see below).

NB: Please reach out prior to October 1, as seeking help later may reduce what assistance the Pre-Law team can provide, so get in touch ASAP!

If you just want to chat generally (e.g. questions about what law school is like, or what you can do early on to prepare for law school) you can get in touch any time.

If you are a current student, Winthrop can help you log your recommendations and keep them on file after you graduate so they are ready later when you decide to apply. Please reach out to the Academic Coordinator at winthropcoordinator@fas.harvard.edu if this is of interest.
