Adam Rizika
I am a tech entrepreneur, company advisor, investor, FIRST robotics coach and proud husband and father. I am currently working on two start-ups, NT-Tao, focused on cracking the mystery of Fusion and CSF Biosciences, commercializing a medical diagnostic to identify brain tumor type through molecular characterization of spinal fluid. I am also engaged in co-founding a non-profit, Alliance for Citizen Engagement, offering students the opportunity to research and write non-partisan, introductory policy papers which get published and promoted.
I have two young nephews, Iggy and Cy living in Winthrop with their parents Remei and Peter, so you might see me at brunch or dinner. I look forward to meeting Winthrop students and talking about new business ideas, business in general or non-profits.
As a bit more background, the last company I co-founded, VidScale, built a global content delivery and compute network, connecting telecommunications companies around the world. VidScale had $85 million in sales, 275 employees and was sold to Ericsson in 2018.
Other companies in which I have learned and contributed include: PTC, Teradyne, The BOC Group, Reflective Technologies, Quantum Clicks and Blackwave. I earned a BS degree in mechanical engineering & applied history from Carnegie Mellon University and a MS degree in management from the MIT Sloan School.
When I am not working on a start-up, you will find me with family and friends traveling, skiing, hiking, mountain biking and kite boarding.
