Hi all! My name is Alex, and I’m an MS3 at HMS. I grew up in Los Angeles and I went to undergrad at Penn in Philadelphia before going straight through to HMS. I’m currently interested in entering orthopedic surgery after graduating from medical school, and hope to incorporate some sort of global surgery into my career long term given my Egyptian background. My hobbies include playing basketball, working out at the gym, playing piano, and I learned to fly planes during the summer after graduating undergrad! I found college to be an incredible opportunity to develop as a person rather than just as a medical school applicant, and I emphasize that philosophy when helping mentor undergrads. I’m excited to work together!
