Dr. Brandon Bertot

Non-Resident Tutor

Hi Winthropians! I am excited to get to know you! My name is Brandon. I am a Cuban American, first-generation college graduate, and first-generation physician from Elizabeth, New Jersey. I graduated from Oberlin College in 2016, where I majored in biology and minored in history and was on the baseball team. I then made my way to Houston, Texas where I received my MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 2021. From Houston, I decided to take my talents to Boston where I completed my internal medicine residency training at BWH in 2024. Currently I am an endocrinology fellow at BWH with clinical interests in obesity and preventive medicine and a passion for medical education, especially as it pertains to training endocrinologically competent internal medicine residents. With my free time, I enjoy exercising, traveling, discovering new bakeries and ice parlors that Boston has to offer, replenishing my shelves at Costco, listening to podcasts, window shopping on Newbury Street, watching anime, and Pokemoning.
