Hi Winthrop! I’m Brian, and I grew up in Colorado before coming to Harvard College, where I concentrated in Chemical & Physical Biology and Government with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. After college, I headed to the UK on the Rhodes Scholarship to complete master's degrees in public policy and global governance at Oxford. I'm now back in Boston as a medical student at Harvard Medical School, supported by the Samvid Scholarship, and I'm especially interested in global health, health policy, and international cooperation.

I'm excited to be a part of Winthrop, and I really appreciated my own tutors and mentors when I was a student. I'm always happy to talk about pre-med and health careers, global health and public policy, scholarships and fellowships, or navigating extracurriculars at Harvard. Outside of school, I love learning languages (Spanish, Korean, and French), playing squash, watching international films, and hunting for the best coffee around Boston. Please feel free to reach out about anything!
