I am a fourth year PhD student in the psychology department. My research asks how children understand language -- what goes on in kid's brains when they are hearing someone talking to them, or listening to a story? How do kids understand the words they are hearing? Lots of my research uses electroencephalography (EEG), a neuroimaging method that lets us record and analyze the electrical activity happening in the brain. I'm happy to talk about psychology, neuroimaging, developmental research, and graduate school! Outside of research, I spend as much time with my cat as possible, and I love reading and walking or hiking.
