Emin Berker
Non-Resident Tutor
Emin is a recent Winthropian who finished his undergraduate degree in Fall 2022. Having grown up in Istanbul, Emin had a joint concentration on Chemistry and Physics and Mathematics during his time at Harvard, with a secondary in Neuroscience and a concurrent masters in Computer Science (more shortly, he studied high school for college). He is hoping to start graduate school in September 2023, and his research interests lie in Theoretical Computer Science, algorithmic game theory, and justified representation in elections. Emin is a big Marvel fan, and spends most of his spare time reading comics or (occasionally, if he’s not feeling too lazy) hiking in New England. He is super excited to be back in the Winthrop community as a Non-Resident Tutor, specializing in STEM & International Students, so feel free to get in touch with him about anything that comes up!
