Grant Jones
"Hello! My name is Grant Jones, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Winthrop
House resident tutor staff. I was born and raised right here in Boston, attended
Harvard as an undergrad, and lived in Winthrop House during my college years. It
feels great to be back! During my undergraduate years, I stayed active in our
community through Queer Students and Allies, The Harvard Din & Tonics, the
Meditation Club, and Aspiring Minority Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs.
My professional journey has been a blend of diverse passions: I spent time as a
management consultant, dedicated a year to meditation and songwriting, and
conducted clinical psychology research at MGH for a year. This path eventually
led me back to Harvard where I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Today, I am once again a researcher at MGH, where my research focuses on understanding the
impact of contemplative tools on mental health. When I’m off the clock, I stay
immersed in mindfulness, music, and wellness. I’m also a big fan of exercise and
always appreciate great conversations. I look forward to being in community with
you all!"
