Hi Throp!  My name is Jimmy Looney and I'm a 2014 graduate of Winthrop.  I'm very happy to be back as part of the Throp community.

As an undergrad, my concentration was in Earth and Planetary Sciences, and I was also a TF for Stat 104.  After graduating, I found the intersection of the two when I became a science teacher.  I've now been teaching math, science, and computer science at Westwood High School since fall of 2014.

In addition to EPS and education, I also got my master's degree in computer science through the online program at Georgia Tech.  So if any of those areas are of interest to you, please feel free to reach out.  Looking forward to seeing many of you around the dhall!
