Hi! My name is Juanky (short for Juan Carlos) Perdomo and I am a postdoc in CS where I study machine learning and algorithmic decision making in social settings. I grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to Harvard for undergrad, where I had the distinct privilege of living in Winthrop House! After graduating, I went out west to do my PhD at UC Berkeley and am now very excited to be back as part of the house community with my partner Lily Katz (who is also a non-res!).

As an undergrad I did a joint concentration in CS and Math with a secondary in history. Outside of school, I spent a lot of time sailing. I was part of the Puerto Rico national sailing team, the Harvard varsity team, and did an Olympic campaign for the Rio 2016 games.
