I am a PhD Student in mechanical engineering and materials science and my research focus is on the mechanics of knit textiles for applications in robotics and wearables. I was Winthrop House class of 2017 (applied math) and also have an M.S. in Mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich. I spend most of my free time outdoors hiking, climbing, and skiing. I love talking about sewing, machine knitting and all interesting prototyping problems, as well as the relationship between my science and artistic practices. Come chat about living abroad, big and small adventures in the woods, or Taylor Swift deep cuts!
