Liz Kaye
My name is Liz Kaye, and I lived in Winthrop House as an undergraduate, graduating in 2021. I studied psychology and completed a thesis in Evolutionary Psychology, which was a great formative experience. At Harvard, I was involved with the RVL/lightweight rowing team, the Arete Fellowship, Winthrop House’s Events Committee, and the Franklin Fellowship.
I am now a medical student at UCF College of Medicine in Orlando. During my gap years, I took premed courses at the Harvard Extension School, worked as a counselor at McLean Hospital in the personality disorder unit, and volunteered in hospice and for an art therapy program for children. In my free time, I enjoy writing poetry and creating visual art—often using pressed flowers or mixed media. While still in Boston, I also loved exploring the underground electronic music scene in Central Square. In recent years, I’ve also solo-traveled, hosteling through Europe on a couple of occasions.
I welcome the opportunity to share what I have learned from any of my aforementioned interests or experiences. Feel free to reach out to me. My family is based outside Boston, so I’ll be in Cambridge from time to time—otherwise, I’m happy to connect virtually!
