House Aide
Mariam Markabani
Hello! My name is Mariam Markabani and I am thrilled to be back in Winthrop as a House Aide this year. While I was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan (GO BLUE!), my family’s roots trace back to Lebanon. I’ve recently graduated from the college with a concentration in Neuroscience and Global Health and Health Policy. During my time at Harvard, I was involved with PBHA Havard Square Homeless Shelter and the Society of Arab Students (SAS), served as a Peer Tutor and Course Assistant in the Neuroscience and Chemistry Department, and conducted research at the Engert Lab. Currently, I am working as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Cardiovascular Department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In my free time, you’ll catch me running around the Cambridge/Boston area and engaging in strength training as I gear up for my first half-marathon this fall! So excited to meet you all :)
