Michelle Guo

Hi Winthrop! I'm so excited to join the resident tutor team and my husband Jack and I are so thrilled to be starting our second year at Winthrop! I grew up in New Jersey and studied biology at Harvard, where I met Jack.

After college, I went to medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a postdoctoral research fellowship in psychosocial oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Now, I'm a second-year psychiatry resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital. My interests include psychosocial oncology, women's mental health, immigrant and minority mental health, psychotherapy, and mentorship. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, swimming, Pilates, and spending time with Jack, our baby, and our families and friends. Looking forward to meeting you all!
