Hi Winthrop! I’m so excited to be a new Resident Tutor this year. I grew up in Indiana and attended Indiana University Bloomington for undergrad where I studied Biochemistry and also had the chance to study abroad in both Santiago, Chile and at the University of Oxford. After undergrad, I joined the MD/PhD program at Harvard Medical School, and pursued research to understand how specific genetic mutations lead to heart muscle diseases. I am now a first-year resident in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In my free time, I enjoy traveling & indulging in culinary delights from around the world, hosting chocolate fondue parties, and sailing on the Charles. I am always happy to chat about careers in science/medicine, wellness, recipes and restaurants, and can’t wait to get to know everyone!
