Sarah Caughey
I’m Sarah Caughey (pronounced C-O-Y), the academic coordinator for Winthrop. I was born and raised in Maryland (near Baltimore), and so I always have Old Bay in my kitchen. I attended Syracuse University, where I double majored in History and English, and spent my junior year in England through the Syracuse London program.
Prior to coming to Harvard, I worked in several different fields, including marketing, non-profit, and a year of service with AmeriCorps. Most recently, I spent several years working in hospital administration at Mount Auburn.
My hobbies include reading (particularly history and genre fiction), cooking, martial arts, and travel. I love visiting historical sites (you should do a ranger-guided tour at the Longfellow House, if you haven’t already), and checking out local restaurants and breweries. I look forward to meeting you all!
