Vivian Pasquet

Vivian Pasquet is currently a Nieman Fellow at Harvard. In Germany, she works as a reporter for Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazine, specializing in narrative science journalism. She is a trained physician. Pasquet is known for her ability to present complex medical topics in a human-centered way and is especially interested in how scientific progress shapes our society. Her vaccine features are considered essential reading. She has won several journalism awards, including the Georg-von-Holtzbrinck-Preis twice and the Deutscher Reporterpreis. Every year since 2017, she has been named as one of Germany’s Top Ten Science journalists of the Year. Her award-winning work places her among the most highly honored journalists in Germany.
