Wendi Zhang

Wendi Zhang has over 15 years of professional experience in high tech, entrepreneurship, and early-stage venture capital.  She is currently the VP of Operations and Business Development at Celential.ai, a Board of Trustee member for The SETI Institute, a part of the Asian Women Coaching Collective, a Career Coach at Harvard Business School for MBA students and alumni, an Executive Coach at the MIT Sloan School of Management for the Sloan Fellows and Executive MBA programs, a pro bono coach for the TED Fellows program, a facilitator for the Stanford Graduate School of Business’s Women in Management Group Program, and a real estate agent.

Previously, Wendi was the Business Development Partner for Gradient Ventures (Google's AI Fund), where she advised Gradient's portfolio companies on their business challenges and helped them forge partnerships with Fortune500 companies. She has also led business development/product partnerships for Google Pixel, Wearables, and Accessories as well as a few verticals of Google Home and Chromecast within Google's Devices & Services (formerly Google Hardware) team, ran business development for 3 tech startups, and contributed to entrepreneurship development policies and analysis in the public sector. Wendi attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she received Bachelor of Science degrees in both Mathematics and Management Science, along with minors in Economics and Applied International Studies. She later received her MBA and Master of Public Policy degrees from Harvard, where she was also a resident tutor at Winthrop.

Wendi is passionate about lifelong learning, interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation, entrepreneurship development, mentorship, understanding history and current events through locals’ perspectives, socioeconomic mobility, traveling/adventuring, and food (including gadgets for food).
