Zeerak Abbas is a first-year MBA candidate at Harvard Business School with a focus on investment banking, private equity and entrepreneurship. Prior to HBS, he spent six years at Shell in the Deep Water group, where he contributed to the development and operations of several offshore oil and gas fields. Zeerak earned his Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a minor in Business Administration. Originally from Karachi, Pakistan and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he enjoys basketball, working on cars, exploring entrepreneurial ventures and traveling.
