Public Service

Winthrop’s Public Service Team works to foster an ecosystem of civic-minded students who are passionate about the intersection of community service, public service, social justice, and community empowerment. All students, regardless of concentration, are invited to participate in this community. By facilitating public service programming, events, and civic-focused university partnerships, we ensure that students have first-hand experiences with public service leadership. Our efforts allow students who engage with ongoing service initiatives that impact Harvard and the surrounding community. Students will develop a first-hand understanding of public service career pathways in charitable/non-profit work, government, and elected office. The public service team seeks to educate students on professional and academic opportunities to empower them as public leaders before they graduate into the real world.
