The Winthrop wellness tutors, Kirin, Debbie and Grant, are here to support you in finding wellbeing and balance throughout your time in Winthrop. We hope to promote wellness in the Winthrop community through events that involve mindfulness, the arts, food, and exercise, among others. We also hope to create spaces for students to share their experiences and struggles, and feel supported by each other.
For this year (2021-2022), we have several mindfulness workshops planned that allow you to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life not just during the session but also by using the skills you learn when you attend later on. In addition, we will be offering yoga classes (as soon as they are allowed due to current COVID guidelines). We are always excited to connect with students who have a specific idea for an event or a community gathering that they would like to see happen. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us!
