The Art Room is located in the basement of Standish Hall. This space is open for all Winthrop residents to engage in creative exploration of the visual arts. It is typically open 24/7, except for occasional events. You can view the schedule for the art room online.
Art supplies are available in the room. The only condition to using the room and the supplies is that you clean up after yourself (i.e., close and put away any supplies, rinse and leave brushes to dry, etc). Contact the Arts & Music tutors if there are specific supplies that you'd like to see provided.
The Art Room also contains a 3D printer which is available for any Winthropian to use once they are trained. Please look out for announcements of 3D printer training sessions or email the Arts & Music tutors. You can view the schedule for the 3D printer.
