Located in Gore G Entry, President John F. Kennedy’s Suite from his senior year at Winthrop House has been preserved and maintained by the Institute of Politics since 1969.
Historic photos and period pieces accent the suite the late President shared with Torbert MacDonald ’40, who later served in the U.S. House of Representatives. President Kennedy, a member of the Class of 1940, was one of several members of his family to live in Winthrop House – including his brothers Robert F. Kennedy ‘48 and Edward M. Kennedy ‘56, and his daughter, Caroline Kennedy ’80.
